Happy Pills Are The Shit

Oh no, you said shit. LOL.

I have been in a generally happy state this year. I think it has a lot to do with my sort-of-resolution for 2008. At the start of the year, I promised myself that I would take care of ME and do things that would make me happy as long as the cost doesn't kill me. So far, I've managed to decrease my net pay, increase my credit card charges, and significantly cut my savings, but I am actually having a blast. I am far from freaking out over my finances just yet. Haha. I'm single, broke, and happy. I've been able to cross out some things on my list and I've also added a few more things. I actually feel positive that I will be able to do them. Woot. Oh my. It is such a joy to let go. :)

Things I'm looking forward to in the immediate future:

• The Warriors Outing. Sun, sand, ultimate, overflowing drinks, drunk Warriors... yeba.
  
• July 3rd or 4th. Top secret activity. LOL. Details TBA. This should be fun.
  
• Firm anniv. I'm actually looking forward to this because I plan to wear a little black dress. Hah. But first, I have to shop for a little black dress. Yahoo! Required shopping!
  
• Middle of July. Looks like we're going on a trip. I don't want to jinx this though so details to follow once this is confeeermed.
• Joining the JRock Revolution. I ordered a cool shirt online. First time I bought something other than plane or movie tickets online. Expensive shit, but I can't wait for it to get here. Hopefully it gets here in one piece. T-shirts are love, I tell you.
  
• Monsoon League. Gimme gimme more ultimate. Ultimate is love too.
  

Things I'm looking forward to this year:

• # 2. I have something in mind. I want to get it as soon as I have the moolah. No, it's not too soon for another one. I can't help myself. Sometimes I feel like I'm on a race against time. Must. Have. Everything. I. Want.
  
• The piercing that got away. In college I pierced my left earlobe because I was young and full of hope and bored. Needless to say I had to take it out because it didn't heal right. But it still haunts me to this day and I think this is the perfect year to get it back. Yessss...
• Futbol. Really, I'm going to join this time. One of the Warriors brought a pink football last Saturday and I wanted to STEAL IT! Haha. It was pink and pretty and would go perfectly with my pink Disney baseball cap and my pink beach bag and my pink jacket and my pink... oh no, I've gone cross-eyed.
  
• Ultimate. More more more ultimate. I'm trying to play at least twice a week.
  

So many things to do, so little time.

When I'm done being all Let go, Lei, let go, I have to make time to figure out my work life. Haha. Oh well.
